Often forgotten but a holiday staple in our house: stocking stuffers are hard to pin down without going straight to candy. I wanted to share some of my favorite things in case you struggle with this category too. My kids do still get candy but I prefer it to be 1-2 items of the maybe 5-10 in their stockings.
Chapstick – both of my kiddos swipe mine so often I got them their own. They absolutely love it and I don’t care if they destroy their own and not mine.
Bubble Bath – always a favorite.
Stress/Squishy Balls – you can get a pack of 12 on Oriental Trading’s website or find these various places. My kids love squishy toys but they often get lost or broken. I buy a bunch at a time so they can be easily swapped.
Sticky Toys – same idea^ and another favorite.
Dollar Spot Toys or Craft Kits – Walmart now has a dollar spot too but any dollar spot or dollar store has great options! I sometimes find flash cards, educational sets/toys, or little craft kits that are a great stocking stuffer option.
Stickers – not sure that I’m a huge fan of these since they end up on everrrrything, but stickers are always a kid favorite.
DIY Craft Kits (pom poms, paint, popsicle sticks, felt shapes, foam stickers) – anything can become a craft kit really – use your imagination!
Surprise balls: LOL, Pokemon, Blues Clues, Ryan’s World, etc.
Gift Cards for Small Experiences – a local art business, a day trip to a museum, tickets to a basketball game, etc. are all great ideas!
Leave any other favorites in the comments! I would love to see your ideas, too!

Along with bubble bath, my kids love bath bombs too! Often you can find some with little toys inside. Always a hit!
